Cathedral hosts ONE Campaign reception kickoff
Bishop Jaime Soto presented his vision for the ONE Campaign before congregants Sept. 16, answering their questions and encouraging support at the first of more than 150 receptions scheduled throughout the fall at parishes across the region.
More than 50 parishioners gathered at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, Sacramento for the evening, including 30 individual households, who were eager to find out more about ways to get involved, and to find clarity in the Bishop’s expectations and prioritization of the goals set forth within the ONE Campaign.
“My favorite Christian song is ‘Here I am Lord’ – this campaign asks us to prayerfully reflect on that and respond,” said Charlie Rush, campaign chair for Cathedral. “More than 50% of the funds raised through this effort will be going to support our children and young adults, and that is very important to me.”
