This year’s theme is ARE YOUR EARS RINGING? God has some amazing things to tell us, but too often we are either distracted and not listening or attentively listening to someone or something else. Taking time out of our busy lives as individuals, groups and parishes to really listen for God’s call is something that needs to become more of a regular practice throughout our Diocese. Ministry Days is your time to be formed, inspired and supported. Join us to equip yourself with the skills and resources you need, take time to evaluate your life, ask the Holy Spirit for help, connect with others who do what you do, learn something new, and spend some time in prayer. Oh, and have a whole lot of fun doing it! Hope to see you all there!
This year’s event features two full days of workshops–September 26 and 27 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. each day at St. Francis High School, Sacramento and a free praise and worship concert from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. on September 26. Each day there is a keynote session and two workshop sessions, lunch, exhibitors and Mass. Bishop Soto will preside at mass on Friday; Bishop Cotta will preside at mass on Saturday. Get all the details and register online at http://ministrydays.com and get faith formation credit for the ONE Campaign. Friday is in English, Saturday is in English and Spanish.
