The ONE Campaign helps give Camp Pendola a new home
The Diocese of Sacramento is excited to announce the purchase of a youth camp and retreat property in Colfax, California. This property offers 240 beautiful acres in the Sierra Nevada foothills.
The facility will be the summer home of Camp Pendola as well as a retreat and meeting space for youth and young adults. Now named Trinity Pines Catholic Center, there are many changes and renovations underway that will make it the perfect place for youth and young adults to get away and spend time with their peers and with God in the beauty of His creation. Some of the renovations include new paint, a one-acre fishing and swimming pond, a sports field, an archery range, an arts and crafts building, new cabins and a new kitchen and dining facility. Currently, the property can accommodate a group of up to 120.
Trinity Pines Catholic Center is available for parishes and schools to rent for youth and young adult retreats, meetings and gatherings. Information can be found on the center’s website at TrinityPinesCatholic.org. This beautiful property is now an integral part of the Diocese because of support from the faithful in our diocese. Thank you for your generosity to the ONE Campaign.
